The Cabin on the Mountain

It was a hot and sunny day today. The daikon and lettuce seedlings are growing in the garden!

We went to the cabin and hammered nails into blocks of wood.

We listened to the semi (cicada) and picked edible mountain plants (warabi).

The carpenter!

Planting the Vegetable Garden

We planted Japanese radish seeds, carrot seeds, lettuce seeds, and burdock seeds.
Now let's care for them and watch them grow!

More Tadpole Hunting

Here are a few more pictures from the day we went looking for tadpoles.

It was fun catching them, looking at them, touching them, and releasing them.

Soon they will grow legs!

Tadpole Hunting
